The Scoop is Jensen Beach’s neighborhood ice cream shop.

Kate and Alex Pope purchased The Scoop in November 2020 after relocating to Jensen Beach from upstate New York. The couple grew up in New Jersey and lived all around the Northeast for their careers- starting their family in Mystic, CT, spending six years outside of Albany, and then trading in their snow boots for flip flops.

Owning an ice cream shop makes sense for the couple who are family oriented, fun loving, and warm natured. You can find them most days serving scoops with smiles while their daughters make suggestions from the booths.

The Scoop proudly serves Hershey Ice Cream and DeConna Gelato. They currently have 8 flavors of Italian ice, over 36 flavors of ice cream, and 9 different gelatos and sorbets. Any flavor can be made into a milkshake (including two vegan selections!), sundaes are “build-your-own”, and Kate is taking orders for custom ice cream cakes.
